Real-time tax transformation

The enterprise problem

Real-time tax is a chain, and every link has an owner.

A regulation becomes tax logic, tax logic depends on data, data lives in systems, systems create transactions, and transactions must be controlled and evidenced. Readiness is determined by the weakest link.

UAE e-invoicing timeline

Six milestones. One enterprise-wide readiness challenge.

UAE e-invoicing implementation follows a phased timetable. Explore the key milestones, the businesses they apply to, and the actions required to prepare.

30 October 2026

Phase 1 ASP appointment

Revenue of AED 50 million or more

Regulatory requirement

Phase 1 businesses appoint an Accredited Service Provider. The date moved from 31 July 2026 under Ministerial Decision No. 66 of 2026; the Phase 1 implementation date held.

Enterprise readiness implication

The obligation on this date is the appointment itself. ERP configuration, master-data remediation and end-to-end testing run from here through to implementation.

How we work

Interpret → Translate → Diagnose → Design → Implement → Assure

Six steps carry a requirement from interpretation to a position that holds. Select any step to see what it involves and what it produces.

Step 01 of 06

Interpret

Establish what the regulation requires for this business, rather than in general.

  • Mandate scope by entity and transaction type
  • Applicable timelines and phasing
  • Open points requiring clarification
